Letter from the President

Wow!  Beta Phi is really doing great! A lot of positive things have been happening for Beta Phi Recently

First, we received a cumulative GPA of 3.11, the highest GPA of all Greek houses on our campus.  We met our goal of a 3.1 and also beat the all-women undergraduate GPA.  This semester we are shooting for a 3.2. 

Second, we did a great job with our philanthropy.  When reviewing all our philanthropy from last semester, we total about $5000 total!  That includes $1000 made at Forrester’s Ball which went to Camp-Mak-A-Dream and the Foundation, $3000 that went to Relay for Life, and $1000 that went to troops in Iraq, a youth AIDS support group, as well as a number of other philanthropies. 

Finally, we recently recruited 21 new members!  In addition, our House Board had our bathroom remodeled over the summer and it is truly a dream!  The women are loving it. 

We have a lot of work ahead of us with so many new members but, we have some great new member programs scheduled. 

We all look forward to an exciting year and hope to continue in a positive direction!
