100th Anniversary Information

Join us for a grand celebration of Beta Phi’s 100th anniversary!
We will gather in Missoula during Homecoming 2009 to mark this special time in our chapter’s history. The grand banquet will take place on October 10, 2009, at Missoula’s DoubleTree Hotel. We have reservations for a banquet for 400 people.

- CHECK IN: Check In will take place in the lobby of the Doubletree Hotel from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday and from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
- SATURDAY BANQUET - October 10, 2009, 6:30 p.m. The Banquet is $45 per person.
- Spouses welcome
- Dress is dressy but not formal
- SUNDAY BRUNCH - October 11, 2009 - 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. (come any time)
- The Bruch sunday morning is $10 per person. If you did not pre-register for the banquet, the cost will be $15 for adults or $5 for children at the door.
- The Brunch will be held at the Beta Phi house

- ACCOMODATIONS: Three hotels are providing a special rate for 100th Celebration guests.

- FUN STUFF:
- A variety of events and get-togethers have been planned by individual classes or groups of classes, departments and other campus organizations. Please Scroll down to see information about Friday and Saturday get togethers!
- The Kappas will have a designated area at the big screen TV party in the Adams Center to watch the Homecoming football game. Admission is free! Food and drink will be available for purchase. Those who are interested in doing something other than attending the football game can contact Nan Bovingdon nano@bresnan.net.
- SILENT AUCTION: Those wishing to donate items for the silent auction at the Saturday night banquet should contact Suzanne Moore Crocker crocker1@pacbell.net or Ann Martin Hill ann4math@comcast.net . If you have an item for the silent auction, you can deliver it to the KKG registration desk or to the Doubletree Sales and Catering Office. Items must be at the Doubletree by 5 p.m. on Saturday. The silent auction items will be on tables around the banquet room. We are pleased to inform you that we can accept credit cards for your purchases although cash and checks might be simpler.
- 50 YEAR PINS: Annette Smith Hinrichs nettie@idahinrichs.com is in charge of obtaining the 50-year pins for those who are eligible and interested. Please contact Annette before August 31, 2009 to receive your pin.
- WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you are interested in helping gather together your pledge sisters, if you want to help in any way, or if you just want to be on the email list, please notify the 100th planning committee chair.

A variety of small group events are being planned for Friday, October 9. The events are being arranged by representatives of various graduating classes. Please return often to see when your generation will be meeting to catch up!

All School of Journalism Alumnae and their Guests:
The School of Journalism is hosting an Open House from 4:00 – 5:30pm, Friday, October 9th. All J School alums and their guests are welcome to see our new home, Don Anderson Hall (DAH). All Kappa's and Theta's attending their 100th Anniversary celebrations are invited to a Tailgate Party sponsored by the Sigma Chi's on Sat. Oct. 10th from 11:00 to 1:00 before the Homecoming football game. The Tailgate location is the S.E. corner of the practice field that is kitty-corner from the Adams Center.
