Information for Alumnae
We Want You!
Are you interested in giving back to Kappa by serving as an Advisor or House Board Member? For information, please email the Advisory Board Chair or the House Board President. Advisory or House Board time commitments range from low to moderate. If you are unable to serve as a board member but would like to help with periodic projects, let us know!
Hostesses are always needed for future events, Night Owl outings, and other group craft or interest events. Invitations or announcements will be mailed for events as they are planned. Please contact us with your ideas, questions, or if you'd like to host an event.

If you would like to connect with Kappa, we invite you to become a member of the Missoula Area Alumnae Association. As a member, you will receive our newsletters, invitations to association and interest group events, our Membership Directory, the opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills as a member of the Beta Phi Advisory Board or House Board or as an officer of the association. Even if you feel you don’t have time to participate in the association events, simply becoming a member of the association is a chance to give back to Kappa. Kappa—for a lifetime!
-
Too busy? Of course. But, even busy complicated lives need a little break from their regular routine. Kappa offers close, intergenerational friendships that connect us from our college days to the end of our lives.
-
I don’t know anyone! Come to one event and you will. Our association has a wide variety of activities that offer you a chance to make new friends and network with a group of talented women.
-
What’s in it for me? Friendship certainly. But, if doing something different in the community is important to you consider connecting with Missoula and Bitterroot Kappas. We offer a chance to be involved with philanthropy. Or, if working with our local chapter appeals to you, there are always opportunities to serve as an adviser or house board member at the Beta Phi chapter (U of M).
-
I was never active in my chapter. I don’t even remember what my chapter was called. Don’t worry! There’s never a quiz and we can look up your chapter information for you. We have great fun sharing stories…”at my chapter we did it this way…” and love meeting other Kappas.
Interest Groups
Missoula debuted the Night Owls Group. We are always interested in adding new groups. Would you like to chair an interest group related to your favorite hobby? Just make a note on your Dues Form and we will get the word out. Some possible group ideas: bunko, mom/tot group, lunch bunch, culinary Kappas, book club—the options are endless!
