The benefits of belonging to the sisterhood of Kappa Kappa Gamma extend throughout a member’s life, providing a connection through which she continues to build her skills and abilities, grow through her association with others and strengthen friendships while sharing joys, sorrows and accomplishments.
Friendships developed within the collegiate chapter last a lifetime. Reunions allow old friendships to be rekindled. Local alumnae associations bring together alumna members from different parts of the world. Kappa members also assist one another for etworking purposes through the Kappa Connection program, allowing members interested in a particular career field to contact other members working or studying in that field for mentorship. Women relocating to a new city, state or country can contact members living in that area for information and advice and join the built-in support group through their Kappa alumnae association.
Through the numerous communication vehicles available to members, including The Key, our award-winning membership publication, and our Web site, members have the opportunity to offer friendship and support to other members. From cancer support groups to helping hurricane victims, Kappas have always supported each other and women in general. Kappa Kappa Gamma truly is a lifetime experience.
